Greetings, fellow Inmates!
Today, the rest of the management team here at Lockdown Prison & I are excited to announce to you some vital information regarding the status update of the server, and things to look forward to as the clock counts down to the official release!
Beta
Lockdown Prison will launch a closed beta, meaning only a limited amount of spots will be available from April 1st until April 15th, 2023. Players will compete for the top spots in each of the following categories:● Highest Rank
● Most bugs reported
● Most critical feedback
Each category winner will win a $25 store voucher and each beta contender will receive a special limited-time "Beta" tag, In-game, in the discord badges, and on the forums. More information on how to become a beta tester will be posted at a later time.
Discord Announcements
I'm sure everyone has seen that we have a new discord bot in the Lockdown Prison discord, and that is because we have hired a new discord bot developer _mic0. Mic is very dedicated in seeing this project succeed, and does a fantastic job developing, and maintaining the Lockdown Prison bot. With that said, from popular demand by the community the discord bot games will return by the end of January 2023! The following games will be making a return:
● Blackjack (Modified to fit all blackjack rules)
● Coinflip
● Hunting, Fishing, Mining & Farming.
This also means that all economic functions will return, robbing each member in the discord, and storing money inside your personal bank.
There are already new discord functions available to check out, the badge system! We have incorporated many different types of badges within the discord, you may check your badges, and rank card with the command "/rank"
Server Announcements
Lockdown Prison has come a long way, from the very beginning. We have decided to take it upon ourselves to redo every little aspect of the server. We understood that a lot of players were complaining that the previous map was strainful to the eyes, and didn't fit the 'Classic Prison' theme, so we have taken it upon ourselves to hire a new builder, dxde. Dxde is a phenomenal builder, he understands the true value of the way a classic prison should look, and feel. So when we launch, everything will be completely new.
We have also hired a new developer, Vshnv. Vshnv is very quick to get our custom ideas made, and uploaded to the server so we can begin testing and setting them up. There are many new custom functions available during the release. Such as:
● Custom Enchantments
● Revamped Skins
● Scavenger hunts
● Fishing & Baits
And more, we just can't spoil all the interesting things.
We would also like to thank our design team, Ermiix who does all of our GFX work, as well as NotSylen and TheDukette who have created all of the custom models we use.
